Ilé Ìmo, the House of Knowledge

A cultural learning centre in Nigeria where knowledge is not delivered, it is gathered. Sweeping curved roofs rise from red earth like a thatched roof lifted to the light, woven screens filter the sun, and every space wraps around a living bamboo courtyard, the way people once gathered around their elders to learn. Stone walls, laterite paths and gardens make it feel grown from the land, not placed on it.
